Phillip W. Stinger Memorial Scholarship
From the desk of Nate Ehrhart, Scholarship Committee Chair. The Philip W. Stinger IWLA # 67 Memorial Scholarship was started in 1970 thru present time. Original
committee members that set the Scholarship Committee up were Chairman Dr. Kenneth Shultz, Stanley H. Myers, Edward G.
Fraley, Dr. Donald Douglass, Robert Rawhouser, and Gordon Stamets.
These members set forth the rules that are
still followed today: the student will be scored on Financial Need, Scholastic Ability, Ecology Factor, Attitude, Composure,
Sincerity of Purpose and use of Visual Aids or Awards. The scholarship applicant that may apply is for only residents of York
county studying in the field of ECOLOGY. Applications will be received up till May 26, 2012 and applications post
marked after this date will not be accepted.
